Appleseed Country Fair Slated for Labor Day Weekend!
Following a hiatus in 2020, the Appleseed Country Fair returns with an impressive music and entertainment line-up, vendors and activities for all ages
The fair will be held on Saturday, September 4 through Monday, September 6 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day at Red Apple Farm, 455 Highland Avenue, Phillipston. Admission is only $15 per car with proceeds to benefit the Athol Fire Department, Phillipston Fire Department and the Johnny Appleseed Trail Association.
The Appleseed Country Fair will feature more than 30 vendors ranging from artisans and crafters to food, beer and wine, as well as face painting and other activities for children.
This year, fair organizers are bringing a robust music line-up with a variety of local musicians, singers and bands to provide entertainment for all ages. The schedule for live music includes local favorites such as the Cheshire County Catz, Whitney Doucet and the Moonshine Band, the Mighty Knightsnakes and many others!
In addition to live music, RC Excitement will host remote control car races, Mark Bosworth will host a wood sculpture exhibit, and the Worcester Railers ice hockey mascot, Trax, will be in attendance as well as the Worcester Red Sox.
As fair organizers want to ensure a safe environment for all, attendees are asked to abide by the COVID-19 mask advisory issued by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health which advises those who are fully vaccinated wear a mask or face covering if they are at increased risk for severe disease because of age or an underlying medical condition, or if someone in their household has a weakened immune system, is at increased risk for severe disease, or is an unvaccinated adult.
